l live in queensland and geckos are sneaking around in the house throught the night leaving shite on the window ledges and l would like them to leave.....any tips?

We bombed the house once (sorry, tented), and they all died. But that is kind of dramatic.
But the reason geckos stay at a house is because there are a lot of bugs around.get rid of the bugs, you get rid of the geckos.

I do not know but when I asked that question when I was living in Hawaii they told me to leave them alone because they ate all the bugs in the house!
