They are small green lizards.
You need to rethink this! Lizards eat tons of insects. I'd rather have a million lizards on my patio than flies, mosquitos, gnats, and creepy crawly things. There really good guys! Just name them, and let them be your friends :)
seriously . you can dig a bunch of small holes around the patio and put glass jars in them flush to the ground . catch them and sell them to a pet store for feeding pythons.
If they r doing no harm why bother.
OK, they need three things besides ur nice warm patio.
They need food so there must be something they r eating or a place they hunt in close. (your lawn? mow it)
They need shelter to hide from predators & places to build nests for egg laying.
They r likely only going to ur patio because the need to warm up in the sun, or to cool down if u have shade.
Unless of course u have lots of bugs for them to eat.
If u have lighting over ur patio u might be attracting night flying bugs. Move those lights if u use them away from ur patio.
I can not understand why you would want to get rid of them. Lizards are a wonderful animal which serve an ecological purpose of controlling unwanted pests, such as flies and mosquito larvae etc. I experienced something similar recently when I destroyed a wasps nest and immediately noticed that I had damaging white butterflies on my brassicas again. I hope you have some of the more colorful varieties.
Let me guess. u live in Florida???
I live in Miami, & I have the SAME problem! they're everywhere! They even sun-bathe next to my pool! ahhh!
So I wish I knew of a nice way to get rid of them. but the only thing to do is put some rat or mice poison in a box with some crickets, etc. & they will die. other than that. they will never go away! They multiply toooooo quickly!
You could also try this product that I linked, although I have never used it before.

P.S. Cats wo not work! Cats simply play with them for amusement. It wo not solve the problem. I have 3 that live outside!
GOOD LUCK! =)
I think first you have to get rid of the insects, because that is a gecko is diet. Also, I've heard of using moth ball flakes around the perimeter of a patio will keep them away.
Do not shower for a few weeks. If that does not work, eat twinkies and do aerobics on your patio.
Nothing wrong with lizards, but if you really want them gone, then get a cat.
lizards eat bugs, so if you get rid of them, there will be plenty of all sort of bugs. keep the lezards it is much better
Get an outdoor cat, but I dont think the lizards are going to harm, or bite you. Or maybe mouse traps will work.
try cats my sister has 3 she lives in cyorus and theres loads of lizrds and the cats like em to play wid (basiclly to eat)
Scream!
getting a cat
Get a big lizard, or better yet, a dinosaur
shoot them.
Buy a falcon.
chase then away haha
